Does Sailor make any ink carts in a nice, bright, cheery blue, similar to Lamy Turquoise or Diamine Aqua Blue?

And does anyone know where to buy extra converters for the Sailor?

My Sailor callligraphy pen is rapidly becoming one of those pens I can't just write out and then put aside. Tried that today! roflmho.gif

Ended up filling it with the Diamine Aqua.

Apparently, Sailor ink does not come in a tropical-sea-blue or turquoise color, in bottles or cartridges.

I've seen Sailor converters for sale at online retailers that are based in a few different countries. Some places sell disposable pipettes or non-needle syringes that you can use to fill used Sailor cartridges.

Pilot/Namiki standard Blue is light and cheery, but not in a tropical-sea way. It is water-resistant but not bulletproof, like Sailor inks are; in fact, Pilot blue becomes water-resistant immediately upon drying, while Sailor inks need several hours to reach their peak of water resistance.

If Pilot Blue is not cheery enough, you might like some of the Pilot Iroshizuku (sp?) blues, which are also water-resistant, if you don't mind the ordering and shipping.

I don't remember whether you like Noodler's waterproof inks or not.

If you don't require water resistance, pick your favorite color from any manufacturer!

Thanks for the info! Let me check it all out.

No, I don't care for waterproof inks that much--I like my inks 'watery,' as I often doodle and draw with them, too.
