I am looking with great desire at the CS trafalgar but must bemoan my budget. Can anyone help to say where the most economic site to purchase on of these pens is.
Mary Burke

I love the Trafalgar and feel it is one of the best 'presentation limited editions' that CS has produced. The rocker blotter made from the actual wood from HMS Victory and the signed certificate from the current Captain of the HMS Victory to me is the icing on the cake!

Kind regards,

The Trafalgar might be tricky to get much of a good price discount on, being that it is LE. Have you thought about just a "regular" Nelson? I'm sure you could get a Nelson in a custom rodstock which would be very close to the Trafalgar for much less than a Trafalgar. Of course, if you are after the pen for its LE status, you will probably find them priced about similarly on eBay or with any of the vendors who still have them in stock.

I was more looking to own a piece of HMS Victory. Maybe CS would sell those blotters separetely.

If there is no way to get a better price than I see it's fine I will just look to another pen. I am not tied to any one at this time.

Oh! Why didn't you say so? Just head on over to http://www.nauticalia.com/ It's an outfit out of Greenwich and they sell all sorts of keepsakes made from VICTORY. I've got a paperweight made from the V copper, along with a wine opener and stopper made from the oak. They also sell larger bits in the form of tables and stools. They all come with certificates similar to that with the Trafalgar. That is to say, signed by the current RN CO and are very nice!

Easy as Bob's your uncle!
