Full Version: Help me match ink with my pen!
I've been searching for an ink for my Burgundy Sailor 1911 (see below). Most burgundy inks appear too purple to match it. What do you suggest?
Private Reserve Fiesta Red is almost perfect.

How does Diamine Monaco Red sound? It's a wonderful colour, and though not burgundy, it might still suit well.

I suggest PR Burgundy Mist.
My 2 cents worth... I agree with MicheleB - Burgundy Mist looks real close. If your looking for a good contrast I suggest Sailor Red-Brown.
Levengers Fireball Red would be a good match.
Third vote for PR Burgundy Mist. If you want a darker hue, you may consider PR Black Cherry…
