Full Version: Parker Victory and Ink Flow

I recently purchased a beautiful grey-black marbled Parker Victory with 'England 25 4' on its nib. The seller, who also adjusted the ink flow and the nib for me, told me that he inserted a fine grooved rod to help reduce the ink flow of the pen; he explained that many of these Parker Victory's had almost hopelessly copious ink flow, so he routinely made this kind of adjustment.

I tried a quick search for "Victory" in Parker forum to see any mention of this, but found nothing. Can someone comment on what I've been told? Thanks.

If you don't mind me asking, where did he exactly insert the rod?

Sorry I wasn't more specific--the term just wouldn't come to me! He placed the tiny rod in the 'feed' that connects the ink supply to the nib.
