I know, we've heard this before, but I finally ordered a Legacy from isellpens!

Black, palladium cap, gold trim. puddle.gif

I was really torn between medium and broad nibs. I have an Imperial with a broad, plus I've found a broad nib unit for the Legacy that I can buy later, if I want, so I went with the medium.

Sorry, but I'm just really really excited! Heeeheeheeheeeeee!!! clap1.gif

thats a fine looking pen! The Legacy is a fine writing instrument, I often regret selling mine. Maybe time for a repurchase? smile.gif

And you should be excited thumbup.gif I purchased my first Legacy a couple of months ago and it is a wonderful pen. The size, the weight, the look, and the smoooooothnes of that beautiful nib makes it a perfect pen in my opinion. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I have enjoyed mine cloud9.gif

I have just two Legacies, a Legacy I with a stub nib and a Legacy II with a B nib. Both pens write superbly. I like the size, weight and balance of Legacies. With their quality, they are right in there with Duofold Seniors, Pel M-800's and Stipula Etrurias.

I hope you like your Lagacy. I look forward to your impressions when it arrives.

I own a Sheaffer Legacy Victorian and it is truly a beauty!!

I thought you were going to tell you had just inherited a fortune, and wanted advice on which pens to buy ohmy.gif biggrin.gif

I have recently been left some money, but have no real idea how much so have to wait for some months on tenterhooks, to see how much I can splurge....not very much, I suspect!

Good luck with your Legacy...I have always been quite a Sheaffer fan.

Definitely worth it! Gorgeous in every way! The medium nib is a little too narrow for my taste, but oh well.

If anyone has a broad nib unit they'd be willing to part with...

Awesome pen!

I think the Legacy is one of the most underrated of modern pens. I have several -- in all three versions -- and have never had a problem with any of them.

The excitement you feel in anticipation of this pen's arrival will not be diminished in any way when you begin writing with this beauty! I have this very pen, fine nib however, and delight in the feel of the pen and the nib's effortless gliding across the page!
Glad you have such a pen!

I agree, I have 5 (3 Legacy IIs and 2 Legacy Is). They are great pens (at least the 3 I use regularly, 1 has been dipped to try out and the last is uninked as yet).

I am sure you won't be disappointed.

Just adding my own "YAY" for the Legacy pens. Beautiful, wonderful writers, very classy-looking pens. Hope yours arrives soon!

Nice! I picked up a copper finish Legacy when Jim Gaston was selling out his stock. It has a really sweet stub nib! Liked it so much I bought two more!

Wow Andy - you really do love the Legacy pens. After buying my first Legacy, the Heritage, I was so pleased with the feel of the pen and the looks that I purchased the Legacy I and Legacy II also. All wonderful pens and a delight to use. clap1.gif

Got my NOS Legacy 2 (Palladium w/Black Lacquer, M-nib) and it's oh-so-smooooth. I'm very happy about the pen, guess that Balance just has to wait. I loaded Aurora Black in it and it writes extremely smooth and wet. Actually it may be too wet because it feathers a bit on some cheap papers. But when I use more reasonably quality paper it works really well.

BTW, I ordered this from ISellPens.com and it was a very pleasant experience (standard disclaimer here). Todd promptly answered my questions before the order, the pen arrived really fast and well packed.
