Firt of all, great reviews!! Thanks.

Now my question. In your review of swisher burgundy you mentioned it has a slightly lubricated feel. I plan to order a bottle to give it a try. Any other inks with that lubricating feel? thanks, jc
The Noble Savage
Wow, there are a lot of inks on the market with the lubercated feel to it that are not specifically Burgandy and made for Swisher. Here is my top inks that feel very lubercating:

Aurora Black
PR DC Supershow Blue
PR American Blue
PR Tanzanite
PR Sherwood green
PR Plum
Levenger Raven Black
Levenger Colbalt Blue
Noodlers AirCorp Blue Black
Lamy black
Noodlers Blue
Parker Quink black, blue/black
Waterman Florida blue

These are just a short list of a few lubercating inks.

I know that the Noodlers Eel inks have a nice almost greasy glide to them but they do not dry very quickly at all. I do not like dry writing inks, I know there are a few factors involved such as the type of pen, nib and ink. I normally buy and use lubercating inks and faster flowing inks. Normally the ones I like are usually pretty saturated. The Noodlers Black is a good flowing ink that is also waterproof too. One really good thing about Noodlers Black is that it tends to dry fairly quick.

I hope this helps ya!!

Hi John,

Thank you for your kind words! There are, as TNS noted, many inks with a lubricated feel, but I thought it was really very noticeable for Swisher Maroon. I assume that that is the ink you are refering to.

Of course I donīt necessarily agree with TNS biggrin.gif (fortunately he is used to that biggrin.gif), but it may have to do with the wetness of the nibs as well, for example, I donīt particularly find Parker Quink inks very lubricating in feel.

Iīll have to check my notes, to see what other inks add a similar, but maybe not as good a slick feeling to the writing experience. Unfortunately, I am not at home right now, so it may be a bit later.

Warm regards, Wim
