This pen has some markings on the barrel but other than these I'm not certain how to separate it from other Parker pens in this family.

The markings are: Geo S. Parker Vacumatic (6). Nib:Parker USA (Arrow)

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Zoe,
I'm no expert, but I would say a 1946 vacumatic major (single gold band, blue diamond) . Furthermore, I would guess it to be a 3rd generation. It does not have a barrel diamond. It probably has a plastic filler unit under the blind cap. Correct?
I love the golden brown colour! A wonderful pen. I have a junior in the same colour.
Enjoy the pen. Hope the diaphragm's OK.

Best wishes,

Rob

Rob, thanks so much for the added information.

Yes, it has a plastic filler unit under the blind nib.

Actually, I am thinking seriously of selling her--I don't use this pen and it is a pity to have it sleeping in a box. I cleaned her up, and she seems to be working fine.
