My new blue m200 with gold cursive italic nib from Richard Binder was sitting there waiting on me to get to work. Got this pen to write checks for a new company that I'm managing. Kind of like a treat to myself. Figured that I would rather splurge on the nib than the pen, but those 400's sure look nice. Hope that everyone else has a wonderful Monday and a great start to a hopefully great week. (Now if only those journals I ordered from The Journal Shop were to show up at my door after work, I might just have to buy a lottery ticket!)

What size italic nib? 0.7 or 0.9? I am looking for this same pen but unsure regarding the size. The LAMY safari Fine is about right for me, but I don't like alot of nib feedback. The LAMY medium is pretty generous.

Sorry for the long reply time! I got the .7 nib. Using scribblers generator, I use a 3 mm body with 6 mm ascenders and descenders. My writting isn't too tiny, but it is on the small side. I don't have anything to compare it to other than a standard Pelikan Fine. The italic nib is just slightly bigger on the "downstrokes", but has a wonderful fine "slash".

Yup, I finally broke down and ordered a green marble Pel 200 with a cursive italic 0.9mm today. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
