Just acquired a Parker Centennial Duofold in Blue Pinstripe with Silver /Platinum Trim with Medium nib. I am told this pen is only supplied with a Fine or Medium nib. The nib apppears to be a gold nib masked with silver/platinum to match the silver/platinum trim of the pen. I am inteerested in a broad Italic (I like the No 95) nib and was wondering if anyone could advise me what nib (while not original for the Centenneial Blue Pinstripe) could a) fit and cool.gif match from an aesthetics perspective without being too jarring with tons of gold.

I was referred to this site and told 'Richard Binder should know'. Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Rajesh

Contact Bill Weakley (WRWEAKLEY@aol.com). He has a good stock of Centennial nibs, and he's a good guy to do business with. If anyone has a 95 for sale, it'll be Bill. Tell him I referred you here.

Bill Weakley is most definitely the go-to guy for Duofolds and Duofold nibs. Duofolds are his specialty. He will most likely be at the DC Pen Show on August 9-10.

Richard,
Just a note that based on your suggestion I've also contacted Bill. What a great resource and knowledgable fellow. Thank you for this information. I'll be doing business with Bill and look forward to contacting you for my future pen needs.
Best Regards,
Brian.

Another "YAY" for Weakley, since I bought most of my Duofolds from him! thumbup.gif
