Full Version: I need a green striped Vacumaic cap jewel

I've misplaced the bookmarks I had for sources of vac jewels. Would somebody please be so kind and to post a couple links? I have a small, green vac (Jr? Deb? blue diamond cap, anyway) that wants to be a double jewel pen, but at the moment is just a single jewel and a threaded hole in the cap.

That's the one I was thinking of.

Could I be so lucky as to live in a world where the maxima's barrel jewel is the correct size for the cap of a Jr. or Deb?

Nope. smile.gif

But do not fear, there are other jewels out there. Try David Isaacson to see if he has any. Also watch on ebay as they do crop up every once in a while.

With some time & effort you could make a replacement jewel yourself, at least when you have a green striped scrap cap available. I've already done this and I've read other repairers have done it .

I would ask Ariel if he has any, or if he can adapt one. He's very helpful.
