Today I wrote a birthday note for my nephew. What's unusual is that I used invisible ink, and wrote in code that he'll have to break. I prepared the material using some other pens, by hand, too, rather than doing in on a computer and then printing out to transcribe. That gave me opportunity to try some other ink samples, and more interestingly it reminded me of when I was a kid doing much the same. Long before computers!
