Hi. Newbie to this forum. 15 years ago a friend gave me a Silver Meiserstuck 925 ballpoint (no box or papers) and I have kept it in reasonably good condition ever since. My passion is fountain pens and I'd really like to sell (either on E-bay or here on the classifieds) or trade for a good fountain pen. Can someone help me to try and determine it's value? A ballpark would work, it's in above average condition with minute scratches but no dents or obvious defects.

I would really appreciate some help here as I am dreaming of another addition to my fountain pen collection.

Log on to your eBay account, enter a search on your model pen, then on the left side under Search Options choose [completed listings] and click on the [show items] button below. You will get a list of sold prices (green numerals) and highest bids of items that didn't sell (red numerals). The more green you get, the better the estimate. If mostly red, at least you'll know what it isn't worth. smile.gif

Thanks very much for your advice. I have at least narrowed it down to a sizable range. thumbup.gif

Thank you Fred for some sage advise, that should have occured to me in the past. So obvious, that I never saw the "forest". I always search current auction items. Excellent heads-up.
