Thanks, Chupie! I agree that the J. Herbin Bleu Nuit is lovely, and the others look good too. So, is Noodler's Purple on the blue side?

Yes, I would say it is on the blue side. It is very much a royal purple. And there is no doubt it is purple but more blue than red.
