Hello all,
Ive just joined the forum nad have been perusing the threads. looking for reviews on Hero pens and Parker 45's.
I have a very scratchy Parker 21 I'd like to try and smooth, as well as a Hero 329 someone gave me whihc is not exactly buttery, but I'm a complete novice.
I keep reading about the brown paper bag trick, have put in a search but nothing comes up.
Can anyone enlighten me?

You need to find a brown paper bag, like from a grocery store or those sac lunch bags. Then just draw figure 8s or anything. The rougher surface should smooth the nib a little.

Be sure to check the nib frequently so you don't mess it up.
