I was in Staples the other day and found these composition notebooks that are made of bagasse. It is a byproduct of sugarcane. They say that they are made from what is leftover after they make the sugar. So they are eco friendly notebooks. The best part is, much to my surprise, they are FP friendly. When I bought it I thought that they paper would be to thin and would bleed really bad. So last night I tried and there is little bleed through. And the paper is pretty smooth. So for a dollar I am blown away by this notebook.

Yeah this is the Staples brand notebook. It has just a plain brown cover with the stitching to hold the paper.

Hm, I'm going to have to go back and look again. A few weeks ago I tried their standard composition, the black & white marbled type and hated it.
