Happy to have found this site. Very informative, entertaining, ...and time consuming!

Nothing special about me..collecting for 20 years or so. New, old, names, and no names. I guess just like eveyone else on the board. Just wanted to add another voice from LA. Doesn't seem to be that many fountain pen people out here.

Well I'm not in your vicinity but I was there scuba diving 15 years ago, a time long before I started collecting FPs. This FP collecting has, yes, become time-consuming but this is a proof that something here really is interesting.....

Hey Scomsky, welcome aboard!

I don't know about how many FP users there are in LA, but I can tell you that a significant percentage of my customers come from Southern California. Makes me sad that I haven't had a chance to get to the LA Pen Show yet - from what I'm told it's one of the biggest and the best in the country. If you go to the 2009 show, you may have an opportunity to bump into a few fountain pen fans like yourself.
