I know that Pelikan is a German compnay but are their pens still made in Germany? A quick scan of their website indicates that they have several manufacturing facilities in different countires and I was just wondering if anyone knows where their pens are made.

Anyway, that's just being nit-picky.

About 40% of Pelikans employees are in South America (Mexico methinks) so there must be a lot going on there!

The pens are still made in Hanover, Germany.


Last I checked, Mexico was still in North America.

I thought it was Central America.

I know, technically it "belongs" to North America but...

I would have expected most of the assembly is in Germany - that's where our pens go for repair if the parts aren't available in the US. So does that translated to the parts being actually manufactured there? I'd assume some are, some aren't.

BTW, don't tell the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) guys.
