Hi all. I now have another 823 but in amber but I was thinking what ink to put in it. I was thinking of PR Chocolat as I think a brown would look great in it. Any other brown or other colour suggestions? What's in your 823? Any inks to avoid?

I only use Iroshizuku inks in my Custom 823s. They work really well and I haven't had any issues with them. Only problem is that they are only available in greens, blues and grays at the moment. I think the red/brown line will be the next to come out in the autumn but that's my poor memory recollecting something that someone else said.

Oh, and I use a Visconti traveling inkwell to fill these pens to get them completely full with ink. Just remember to hold on to both the inkwell and the pen when you push the plunger in!!!!

I've got my first fill of Noodlers Blue Black, and working fine.
