The "ROSE BOWL", in Pasadena Ca. hosts a giant flea market on the 2nd sunday of every month. An old friend of mine
sets up a booth there on a pretty regular basis and he's asked me about offering some of my Chinese pens. I have been to the 'bowl a bunch of times; it's a great show and a lot of fun but...... is it a good venue for these pens?
Anybody out there want to talk me into it?..... or talk me out of it?

Because of the periodicity of the event, I've posted in this forum. If I have erred, oh powers above, feel free to move this to
where it belongs....and give my wrist a good slapping!

You should definitely go. I lived in Pasadena for four years and regret that I never went to the Rose Bowl's flea market. You should be able to find some great deals. Good luck! biggrin.gif

P.S. If you are into art, you should check out the Norton Simon Museum while you are there. It's close by and has an amazing collection!

Well, over 100 people have looked at this. I'm hoping that's a good sign because we've decided to go ahead and give it a try.
My friend Lotar; a tall (6'5") skinny guy with sandy hair, an "aquiline" nose, and a rather acerbic sense of humor, will be in space HH89 in the "ORANGE" section (next to the canal fence). The date will be Aug. 10, the 2nd sunday of the month. If we get a good turnout, this may become a tradition. I will post any further word over on "FOR SALE, PENS"
thanks
