I'd rather not order directly from the company due to the cost of shipping. Does anyone stock these inks in the USA yet? I keep hearing, "soon", but I'm antsy to buy and start using these inks.

Pendemonium still has them as "coming soon", but it might be worth sending them an email to double check that.

It has been represented by one retailer or another a few different times that the holdup is the US distributor. It seems like these inks have been a month away for over 2 months now.

Perhaps I "should" order the inks directly from the UK.

How badly do you want them? I want Kelly Green because it was the predominant color of my high school and would be good for letters to people I know from back then. I don't really write anybody I went to high school with, though. I have decided against ordering direct because I really can wait for that ink. If we get to fall or winter without it arriving, I might change my mind and go direct.

Actually, shipping from the UK is not that much. Diamine charges only 5 pounds (ca. $10.00) shipping for any reasonable amount. Check their web page. Also, you get a refund of the VAT, which means that if you buy several bottles the VAT refund covers much of the shipping. Also, you can get 30ml plastic bottles from the Diamine webpage. If you want more than one bottle, you will probably not pay more than buying it in the US and having $6.00 or $7.00 shipping cost.

The 30 ml bottles are really tempting, but the rumor seems to be that the plastic bottles for the US market might be on the same slow boat the new colors are.

Maybe I should just order direct. Hmm.

A note from Scotland-- I just got my damson, and it's killer. Definitely worth getting a few bottles and paying the shipping with the VAT.

We're still patiently waiting for the word that the ship has docked and the new Diamine colors are enroute to our US Distributor. Would have liked to have had the new colors at the DC Show last weekend, but, sometimes these things move slower than we would want. I know everyone is anxious for the new colors, on the other hand, we all have a few bottles sitting around to tide us over for a bit .... right?!?!
