Full Version: Is Gentleman using propreitary cartridges?

After spending the last decade in its case in the drawer, I have decided to use my Gentleman FP daily. (No worries, it was thoroughly cleaned by a certified Waterman dealer in Germany before going to sleep)

I am currently working on a project outside of Germany and will probably not fly back home for another 6 months or so. Unfortunately, there is no source for original Waterman cartridges nor converters around (Now, I regret not buying the converter back then)

Does anyone know, whether I can use another brand cartridge on the Gentleman?

I have searched the forums and found a thread or two, but they were not related to Gentleman.

Thanks

Can't you order a converter or cartridges? I'm pretty sure thats the only answer. Nice and under-rated pen, I hope you can use it.

I just ordered a converter for a Waterman Gentleman at http://www.pendemonium.com/index.htm.

They may also have cartridges.

Good people to work with; good delivery time too.

Cheers,

Does the Gentleman use a cartridge and/or converter that are different than the "modern" ones that are used in a Carene, for example?
