I have no interest whatsoever in that ebay auction currently taking place, except for the fact that if I had the cash I would really be going after that pen. I think that it's over $1,000 right now... Over, what you can get a WE for... Do they usually go that high? Seems to be in great condition though. I can clearly see the influence the Hemingway was builit on.

Looks very clean, although it appears to have a replaced feed. What I like about the late 1930s 139s (vs. this one) is that the cap had a larger star.

But yes, you can see that the flagship 139 is the inspriation for the Hemingway.
