I just got this pen with the Cross Emperor nib and can't figure out how to use it. I need to hold the pen at a very low angle to get a "normal" ink flow. Is this pen and nib only suitable for Kanji script? Or can it be adjusted so it is suitable for the normal alphabet? Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

You just bought one of my favourite pen, which i use with a nagahara cross emperor!!! If you want to use it as a daily writer you have to put it on the paper upside down. When you use it on its right side you can leave on paper from medium to superbroad strokes. Remember that every nagahara specialty nib is different from the other kind of nibs on earth.

Nagahara specialty nibs: love them or hate them.

Bye.
