Soooo, I went to my local J. Herbin dealer, and he wasn't interested in ordering scented rose ink for me. He tried to push a $24 bottle of other rose-scented ink on me that was Italian and I'd never heard of. I backed away from it because it seemed expensive. Come on, it should have a pure essential oil of rose in there.

He also couldn't let me try it, as the bottle was wax-sealed. But he assured me it was for FPs as well as dip pens. Um... sure.

Anyway. Can anyone here recommend a good scented rose ink or three, and dealer that I can trust in the U.S.?

I just received shipment today of the Montblanc Love Letter Ink. I haven't any empty pens here to try it out, but the scent is pretty strong.

I ordered it directly from the Montblanc refill shop (shipping to NYC.)
