Full Version: new discovery ~ Blue Lagoon

Customarily I match the ink and pens by color so I can remember what's in them.

I have always used a shade of brown in my Pelikan Tortoises because I have seen some pretty mean stains. But I wanted to go "Chocqua" or "Chocoise" , (brown pen, turqoise or aqua ink except with a bit more density). So....

I emptied the brown ink from my Pelikan 160 Tortoise OBB, and rinsed it a couple times with pure water, but not until it came out clean. Then I gave it a full drink of Watermen's South Sea Blue. The result was ... Blue Lagoon.
I know, some of us are crazy about naming colors, thinking we have discovered a new continent, but what the heck.

Anyway ... I'm guessing a drop of brown per pen full of South Sea Blue ( or any other Peacock Blue look-alike) will give you a cool summer color to enjoy.

Blessings ~
