As per usual, I have loads of watercolours for sale on ol' fleabay. My is peachez111. The market is deader than the deadest old thing and my bank manager and I are wringing our hands and sobbing into warm beer due to my lack of sales and funds. So please people, take a squint at my little daubs and tell me, is it that I am carp (that's an anagram - you get the idea) at painting? Should I hang up the brushes and seek alternative employment?

My CV -

I am reasonably bright; I have bits of paper wot say so.
I can write a bit.
I sound stunning on the telephone, even if I have no idea what you're talking about
I can touch type at 50 words per minute - most of them make sense and I have spell cheque witch is a winderful thong.
I am nice to customers.
I am impatient with idiots, unless they are customers.
I work really bleedin' hard.
I can tap dance - my triple timesteps are ledendary. They get better after two glasses of red.
I can find my way around any microsoft software and can keep the swearing to a minimum when it doesn't work. Which is a lot.
I'm completely brilliant with internet research - I'm serious; ask me to find you grandmother's second cousin's dog and I'll deliver.
I am very kind to animals.
I can change nappies (no, don't be silly - not on animals) read stories and teach children how to laugh, play, speak, write their name and build sand castles with moats.
I am organised and multi-tasking is second nature. Who else do you know who can talk to their lawyer whilst sitting on the loo and still keep a straight face?

So come on, who would employ me?

I don't like the way you put yourself in........Everyone has it up and down. saiding seem easy for me but still you have to hang on real hard and I sure you wll find your way around. i don't know how but selling your water colour does not slove tomorrow problem and I won't buy any.

I suggest you tried painting some more to lives things. allowed people to compare and see the real works of yours. Ads firm Or book, Newspaper company will be well aknowleged your works if they can compare your real works to real lives. (I guessed that is how you will win) I may not be well verse putting into words here but trust me is like pen play.. Someone can ask you "I have a pen that look like this and have that BUT I do not know which model . Can you guy out there tell me please.......... Trust me he is not going to get a convince or right answer. Only a good photo shown. Your case are very much the same. I seem your painting but you have to let someone who is able to "USED" you work to do other work. Then you will be very successful and busy them. trust me......... I was there since i can't put on paper I shown them the REAL THING.

I hope you think about it. This has been going on TOO long since the last time I write to you. Think Hard.

Peachez,

Just found this thread. Times are hard for everyone right now. Sorry sales are down for you. Maybe something to supplement your artistic income, but don't give up painting. Your work is beautiful.
