I have a desk base originally made for biros, which I'd like to use for my Desk FPs. However, the trumpets are too small! Does anyone have, or know where I can get, spare ball-base trumpets? I'm not above swapping them in myself.

I have an onyx desk base that a Sheaffer fits into. The trumpets are fairly large. The Sheaffer's are threaded, and I don't remember if this is the base that is threaded or not (I had both at one time). Anyway, you're welcome to it, and the Sheaffers too.
