Has anyone any experience with this low end Pelikan?

I've got one. Silver, F nib. Brass barrel and cap, aluminum section. Fairly light (without the cap, it's lighter than the M215; with the cap - heavier), but the heavy cap makes it, for me, too unbalanced when posted. Fairly slim, slimmer than the M215. Long enough for a converter. The section is hexagonal, which might make the grip awkward for some people. The chromed ring on the section will corrode if used with acidic inks. The nib is smooth and wrote well from the box (though I realise this doesn't really mean anything smile.gif ).

Thanks for this. How would you compare the nib quality compared to the M215? I am strictly after performance, not looks, per se. Is the nib stiff or a tad springy?

They're both stiff, and, considering that my M215 is a noticably wetter B, I'd say they feel about the same... The Technixx isn't as stiff as some other pens I've used (Parker Vector comes to mind here, that one feels like a rollerball), so I suppose I could say it's a tad springy. But I'm a really bad judge of this.
