I haven't seen much discussion about Levenger ink. Whats your take?

I like Levenger inks. Except for the grey.

The Cobalt Blue is my all-time favorite ink, despite its tendency to dry very slowly. It is a very rich color. I prefer it in dryish pen with an xf nib.

The other colors are better behaved.

There have been several posts about Levenger's Inks, mostly trying to figure out who actually manufacturers them. Nobody seems to know (or perhaps someone knows and won't say).

The plastic insert in the bottle is a very handy aid for filling.

What else could one say about the ink?

I used up a whole bottle of Levengers Cobalt. I really like these inks! I got the "Slightly Wilder" 6 pack of inks for Christmas from my sister and really like the Sky Blue, Bahama Blue, Fireball Red and the Smokey. The Always Greener and Pinkly however don't float my boat.

I'd gladly trade you my remaining Smokey for your Always Greener!

I have used cartridges for the Amethyst, Cocoa, Emerald, and Cardinal Red. They're okay, but none of them are really business colors.

I just got the slightly wild six pack today. I have hopes for Smokey and Skies of Blue. I imagine that Fireball will become by red of choice because I think I'll like it better than Cardinal. I'm not sure what I'll do with the other three inks, but I figure I can always sell them if they sit around for a while.

I really like Fireball Red- it's my favorite red at the moment.

I have the Cocoa, Cardinal Red, and Green in cartridges and the Cobalt Blue and Skies of Blue in bottles. Cocoa is a nice warm brown. My wife adores the skies of blue. I am trying to like the Cobalt Blue, but it looks very dark and purplish in a Fine Safari.

They are great colors in my humble opinion. The price plus the legendary Levenger shipping, well, now that does cause me to be more cautious especially compared to PR inks.
