Hello all! Checking in from Albuquerque, NM. I'm a relative newbie to the FP world as my wife recently gave me a turned fountain pen from a local art gallery as a gift. When I finally figured out that it needed an ink cartridge, and I started writing with it, I knew I was in trouble. Since then, I've picked up another turned beauty and I just ordered a Pelikan 400. I can see that I will probably need to lock up my wallet if this continues. Unfortunately, I have experience with custom doo-dads in that I recently satisfied myself with 2 sets of custom-designed poker chips. I guess I'm due for a new diversion. Anyway, I'm glad that I found the FPN, and I look forward to learning from this community!

Welcome to FPN! If you are interested in custom jobs, come to the pen shows. Also, for a beautiful custom pen, you might want to check out Edison Pens - easy to find through Google.

Now, if you like custom pens, check out pens by these custom pen makers:

(2) Paul Rossi
(3) Bruno Corsini
Both Bruno and Paul are from the Bay Area.

Hi AtomicLeo!

I have heard about the Santa Fe Pen store, but have not had time to check it out. Are you at LANL?

AtomicLeo
Yep, like 99% of the population up here. :-)

It's a really neat store, but hold on to your wallet! I walked in there last month thinking I was *only* going to spend $150, walked out with a Sailor 1911 that cost $250! Frank (the owner) is a great guy.
