I am considering a Montblanc Leonardo Sketch pencil purchase with the pen boutique (see above). Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with them.

( I know this is a pen site, but I have lots of Montblanc pens but no sketch pencil. It is very unique and cool item)

Thanks in advance

No experience with this seller Ross, but I spent quite a bit of time looking at their site, and looking at various other than MB pens. This site says all the right things about being a MB authorized retailer, and the prices of other manufactured pens seem to be in line with known retailers such as Airline International. They've got a very detailed "about us" page at http://www.penboutiqueonweb.com/acatalog/About_Us.html , and to tell you the truth, I'll probably call them about a couple of pens I've been thinking about buying. Thanks for the lead!

I bought two bottles of MB violet ink from them last autumn when they were the only site I could find that sold it. They shipped VERY quickly. I was impressed...but now I wonder why I haven't bought anything else from them hmm1.gif

I'd go for it!

Pen Boutique is one of two stores with web sites that I regularly buy from, when I say regular, I mean once every month or two. They have great service, and very competitive prices. They even try to accommedate my orders, even if what I want is not available in their stores at the time.

I dealt with them directly when buying two MBs one time shipping to the U.S and the second time to the Middle East. They are AMAZING! smile.gif

The first pen I bought at 6pm their time and by the following morning it was delivered in a U.S address. The second time within 3 days it had arrived in Amman, Jordan.

The best of all is that when you email them for follow up, questions, tracking number etc you get a reply within the hour and they are so so friendly.. Ask for Tiffany (orders) or Leena (international orders) smile.gif

That is one unique looking pencil. I'm compelled to post the image (from the aforementioned site):

Yes it is very unusual...I'm mostly a fountain pen addict, but there are some unusual artist pencils that are almost objects of art...
Thanks for the post.
