The other day, my Gramps gave me two pens; one was an Insignia but the other I can't figure out. unsure.gif
It has two jewels (lightly greenish in colour). They are both at either end of the pen when capped. It is rolled gold from top to bottom. Can anyone guess which pen it is???

Not without a photo!
Parker produced a lot of gold pens. There were/ have been gold versions of the Sonnet, Parker 51 and Parker 61 at the very least. Not sure if the Sonnet has two jewels.

Richard.

Only one jewel on Sonnet - on the cap.

Is the nib hooded or open?

Sounds to me like it's either a Parker 61 or a 65.

Can't think of a double jewelled 51 with rolled gold cap and barrel.

If it has an hooded nib (with just the tip showing), is there a small gold coloured metal arrow piece embedded in the plastic just above? If so, it is a Parker 61 Custom Insignia*. (Note the little arrow pieces have a tendency to fall out leaving an arrow shaped indent behind.)

The Parker 65 is very similar but has an 14k 585 open nib.

* It there are fine lines running lengthways along the pen, it would be a Custom Insignia. There are a few others in the 61/65 range but they are much harder to find.

It's a custom Insignia then. It's got your 'fine lines running lengthways' and an intact metal arrow just above the tip embedded in the plastic. Thanks!
P.S.: I don't know as much about pens as you guys.
