Heres my new pen. What ink matches the pen best?

Maybe Private Reserve Ebony Green?

My favorite green is Caran d'Ache Amazon but your pen is yelling Noodler's Hunter Green at me

I echo the Ebony Green suggestion, but don't use it on a Black n' Red. I ruined one page of the one I use to track my voicemail messages at work because the ink would not dry even after hours left open. This wasn't a particularly wet writer, either -- it was a Hero 616 that put down just as fine a line as any of my Heros.

+1 on Diamine Umber
Noodler's standard green (the other Noodlers greens are too light or too blue-ish for that pen's color)

PR Sherwood
Montblanc British Racing Green

I've put Diamine Emerald Green in my new Evergreen Visconti Van Gogh Maxi. That's what I would suggest. Very nice, deep green, w/ a fair amount of shading.

Ditto. Also, a green with some blue undertones would like nice. Oh and yeah. Apache Sunset.

I've used British Racing Green....truthfully not a fan of olive greens. I will probably do a Pear Tree Pens Ink Sampler though! Thanks for all of the suggestions.

I'd have to go with PR Sherwood Forrest Green.

I agree with Robert Hughes. Why does the ink have to match? How about contrasting the ink to the pen? In green pens, I like to use purple, plum or light brown ink. Herbin Violette Pensee or Cafe des Iles would look nice.

Not to hijack this thread, but I try to match so that when I pick up whatever pen I have in rotation I know what color of ink is in it. (i.e. Waterman Blue Phileas has BSB in it, Black Phileas has Waterman Black).
