Just wanted to share some photograps from another Danitrio to my collection. (Rising Sun Addiction)
It is about a Mikado by Danitrio finished in ISHIMEI. When I opened the "magic" black box the first impression was as to have in my hands a giant Golden Bug, just because of the surface colours and texture. Nice and spectacular at the same time. On a close inspection it can be seen that the finish effect is achieved by a black Urushi base covered by evenly semi-coarse gold powder sprinkled over it. The pen is by "our" well known Kogaku. This artist, no matter what he does, really touches perfection. In this case, the pen is fitted with a stub nib, my first stub and I must say that is a really nice juicy and smooooth nib indeed. This one goes well appart from my EF and F taste, which is for everyday use, but for card writing has a lot of character.
