I hope this is the correct place to ask this question. How do you post more than one pic when doing a review ?.
Say I want to write a bit then include a pic followed by more text then another pic and so on, how do I do it ?.
I can't find any help on this forum on how to so I appologise for posting here.

Hi Gary,

When you're busy writing a post/message, and that is no different from starting a new topic, you are presented with a little rectangular box where you type your message, review or any other text.

If you look above the box, you will see a bunch of buttons, one of them being the "IMG"-button, which will prompt you for a link to an image. That has to be a full url, as in "http://www.myimagehost.com/myimagedirectory/my-image-no-1.jpg" etc. You can provide as many as 25 images, if I am not mistaken, this way. And the images get insrted at the point whre your cursor was when clicking the "IMG"-button.

Now, this does mean you have to have an image-host, IOW, a place on the internet to put your images up. If you don't have an image host yet, you will have to get one.

I don't know any, but email me b/c, and I may be able to find you a solution.

BTW, make sure you're pics are sized to be no wider than about 800 pixels, and no higher than about 600 pixels. Peopel wil lhave to scroll the pics, otherwise, and the text follows the pictures, so it makes it hard to read the text as well.

BTW, this is also explained here, as the "IMG"-button insets this stuff into the message text:
How to add pictures

Thanks Wim,

I don't have a URL so I guess I could edit my pics and join them together one beneath the other and then refer to each one by text. As long as the width is OK scrolling down shouldn't be a problem, should it ?.

BTW snail on the way today.

Cheers

Check out www.imageshack.us you can upload pics there. They host the pics and provide code for full images and "clickable thumbnails" to embed in html forums (like pentrace) and ipb boards (like good 'ol FPN smile.gif)

Here's an example of a clickable thumbnail pic. Click on the image to see full sized...

Thanks All,

I've found a few photo hosting sites and will try them out. Very cool.
