I have a friend that has a burgandy/thin Montblanc fountain pen (it's very light) that she said was purchased for her after graduation from law school about 15 years ago. Not sure of a model number. Any idea of worth? She doesn't know.

Anyway, I believe your friend has a 144. A filler system would help us pinpoint a little more carefully. The $100 quote from jmkeuning is probably reasonably accurate. It is helped by the fact that it's burgundy.

Alternatively, it's worth the price of a law degree when she went and got one...
