I just received my order of Legal Lapis from Pendemonium, and I absolutely love it. Really, I might go so far to call it the perfect ink.
There is one question I have about it, is it safe to use in a Parker Vacumatic?
When I received Empire Red, I loaded it into my Hero 616 (about two weeks ago) and it hasn't left since. I flushed it out so I could load it with Legal Lapis, and the sac was stained a dark yellow. Though that might just be because of the red colour.
Will Legal Lapis do the same to the interior of my Vacumatic? Will it corrode the celluloid of the Vacumatic's barrel? My Vac is by no means a collector's piece. It is already mostly opaque (except in front of very bright lights and at certain angles). However, I would not want to destroy it due to negligence - I can always wait for my Snorkel.

I put Legal Lapis in one of my Parker "51"s, but I had to think long and hard before doing. Picked a Teal Aero, with good flow and one I had a near copy of. Worked fine, no problem.
I wouldn't do it to your Vac.
Won't put anyone's Red in a vintage pen. I love Noodlers inks and have tons of colors, but very slow and careful about putting Noodlers or any highly saturated ink in a vintage pen. Staining is one possibility, tho' as noted above many reds may stain a pen. Other is, these older pens were not built for the saturated ink and may not flow properly.
I don't put Noodlers in my Snorkels either. Other people do, I'm a wimp. That's why I have other good/great writers like the Hero 616 and Pilot 78G (that's a wonderful writer)
With Waterman Green and Fla Blue 1:1 or a bit more blue, you can have a pretty teal. In Recipes are other suggestions for some safe mixes approaching the color of LL.
