The rings of copernicus pen are silver. Therefore it seems that the metal on the Shaw pen is silver. I should check about this since I have some doubts.

says that the body is painted lacquere as well only 710 eurp for fp.

Actualy thats a question I was asking myself since I saw the picture for the first time.
I must admit I love the design of this pen especialy with the ink view window but after the last two modern design pen I do wish to see a mire vontage/classic looking pen.
In any case I plan to get it and hope the 2009 WE will have a more classic design.
