Hi All,

During my recent visit to Hyderabad as always I made my customary visit to the Deccan Pen Stores. During discussion they showed me a lot of pens they had made over the years. One of them was an interesting tribute to Pelikan called the PELKAN[sic]. This pen is similar in size to a Pelikan 120 (?). These Ebonite pens are ED filled.

The cap and mock piston (can't unscrew) are in Black, the barrels have the mottled green and mottled brown variants. The pens are fitted with standard IPG nibs. I liked the pens very much and bought a few. I have one filled up and it writes like a champ. It holds about 1.8ml of ink. The pens are 5 inch capped and 5-3/4 inches posted.

Cheers,
Hari

Lovely, interesting homage to Pelikan 120 pens! This size I like the most-M400. Step down design to copy piston position is a nice touch.
Why they don't make gold nibs?
Any way thanks for sharing. Nice photos.

The Cost. It will increase by an order of magnitude. I am grateful that these pens are also available with steel nibs which can be afforded by people like me.

Regards,
Hari
