Dear FPN Colleagues,

I have just received a sheaffer pen described on ebay as a Sheaffer Legacy 1 from the period 1998. I paid about $63 dollars including delivery.

On closer inspection, the girth is slightly smaller than my legacy 2 model and the rear unscrews and as it does so, a steel piston emerges....this is what worries me crybaby.gif .....this does not appear to be a legacy....I have attached a two photo's ( apologies for the quality )......

Capped it is 14cm in length and the girth is exactly 1 cm ( using a ruler to estimate it's width ).

I am considering it's return for a full refund....

Any help identifying it would be appreciated......

Given the fuzzy pics, is hard to tell, but I'm inclined towards an Imperial touchdown.

Edited to add I've just seen the small pics. Is an Imperial, yes.

Hi,

Inclined to agree, probably an Imperial, but not a Legacy.
