Wahl Eversharp pen in rosewood hard rubber with gold filled ball clip, bands and lever. The cap jewel in gold plate and enamel has the logo “Gregg”; “Gregg” was the most popular form of shorthand in the United States, invented by John Gregg in 1888. It was widely used in the 1920s and continued in use at least through the 1970s. So this pen was branded with Gregg and fitted with a suitable nib.
The long 14k Wahl number 2 nib writes an expressive fine line well fitted to the lines and curves of the shorthand. It has good iridium still and is a pleasure to use.

Condition: the pen is in excellent condition with little marks of use, no brassing except a touch on the lever, fills well and writes very well.
Price: $125
