Hi

I am probably going to buy an eritruria some day but I have some questions to make sure that this purchase will be the right one:
-are the piston filled eritrurias as big as the 149 or the new paragon arte ht italiana?
-are the nibs equal to omas in terms of smoothness and writing comfort?
-is the ink capacity as big as a 149 or a m 1000?
-how good is stipula after sales service?
-is the celluloid found on eriturias subject to ambering like older vintage parkers???

Thanks in advance for the help

regards

The length of the Etruria is the same as the Montblanc 146 or the Pelikan M800. The diameter is greater than the 146 and is about the same, perhaps slightly greater, than the M800. For my writing style, Omas nibs are slightly smoother than the Stipula nibs of same size. Both are very smooth, and, for me, buttery smoothness isn't paramount in a nib. I have come to like toothy nibs as well as buttery nibs - they give a different writing experience. I would not characterize Stipula nibs as "toothy".
