when browsing using a mobile device the page sometimes times out. I need to switch to lofi but since the page has timed out I can't!

Button at top solves problem.

Personally, I have not reached the point of obsession where i am checking FPN from my mobile device. tongue.gif

Truthfully, I can see how that helps. Heck, maybe sometime in the future I will want it done too. I second this recommendation.

Using a mobile device often but only once trying FPN the lo-fi button at the top would be a huge improvement!

I would concur with my esteemed assosiates above. moving it to the top would make life easier for if I was ever to need it

No -- lowfi + view new posts handy would make me happy. wink.gif

Why don't you use google to get to the lo-fi version of some thread from where you can get to the index page which you can save on your phone? This way, every time you want to use the lo-fi version you just have to load the page and refresh it.

It can probably be done and will be on our list of things to discuss and probably do. Soon? Not so sure.

Because that is not the problem. Most threads will load just fine, but there are some (picture heavy) that do not. During loading, my device loads part of the page, and then stops, telling me there is no more memory. If the button was at the top of the page I could click it and get the low-fi version of that page, but when I am done with that thread, go back to the full version.
This is a "lo-fi" version of our main content. To view the full version with more information, formatting and images, please click here.
