Looking for a new cap for my 1948 Plum P-51: frosted Lustraloy would be sweet — with the long clip. One with a jeweler’s cap band or stacked coin detail would be even sweeter. Must be in great shape!

As usual, Old Griz, you come up with the goods... Would a frosted Lustraloy cap be correct for a Plum P-51?

Sure would.... so would a nice basic aero gold cap... and Ernesto most likely has both...
My 51 Demi Plum pen/pencil set has beautiful minty frosty caps...
