Soennecken 222 in garnet red snakeskin with gold plated clip and trim. The is the “lady” size of the 222, 11.8cm (4 6/8 inches) closed and 13.1cm (5 ¼ inches) posted. The nib is 14k fine and writes a very smooth fine line, a pleasure to use. The pen uses the excellent Soennecken piston filler design. (The Soenneken piston has a locking mechanism: the piston cap is first pulled out to release and then twisted to fill.)
Condition: excellent. I love Soennecken pens ans this is a beautiful example of the 222, one of their best designs.
