It has no number at the barrel bottom, it's 5"3/8 lenght and 3/8" diameter.
I'm not able to find a reference on the net, so I'm asking here.
...second step would be to find a cap for it...

That's a rather long section on it--you sure it isn't a desk pen?

What is imprinted on the nib and (if anything) on the lever? Anything imprinted on the length of the barrel opposite the lever?

It does look a little like someone put a desk pen section on a standard pen body. However, my view may be skewed by seeing these parts as possibly Waterman.

Well, I haven't suspected it was a desk pen, but it could be; infact the barrel bottom looks like broken as for a cut:



On barrel is imprint:
Waterman's
reg.U.S. ideal pat.off.
made in U.S.A.
fountain pen
On the lever is written IDEAL inside the globe
Nib is a semi-flex Watermans #2.

If it's so, can the behind missed part (I don't know if it has a specific name) be threaded into the barrel? (in order to remove the broken part)
