Ok, I think I'm in trouble. I set three pens in a glass of water to soak this yesterday morning, as I've done so often before. However, this evening when I took them out to flush them, the pens felt like they were covered with a thin coat of slime. I can't see anything, but I can tell the difference after I've rubbed the exterior in some running water and rinsed off whatever it is. I'm worried now about what I've done to the insides.

What is the most likely thing that has happened?

Is there a home remedy to sanitize my pens?

Thanks in advance,

Kevin

Flush them out with washing up liquid, and any dilute ammonia based disinfectant should do the job.

Do any of the pens have deceased former owners? Maybe you need to call the Ghostbusters.

Thanks Richard, your advice did the trick.

laugh.gif Only one of the trio *might* have come from the estate of a soul no longer among us. But, it's more likely all three ganged up to teach me a lesson about the care and feeding of pens!
