Yet again I turn to you all as resident experts, this time to ask where can I buy a Pilot 'Stealth' VP/Capless fountain pen. I hoping someone on this excellent site has an idea!

I am after a working pen, so am not bothered about buying a stickered or un-inked one.

I would check with Stan if i were you, and also stake it out on ebay. They do show up from time to time. I picked mine up on ebay, but it took a while to find one and get it at a fair price. I suggest patience on this one

Nikolaos: Thank you for mentioning my name as a source for one of these great pens. It is appreciated.

Mr Blonde: you may not be aware of it but it was I who first used the term 'stealth' in reference to the finish on this pen. It was used in one of my sales to describe that the matte, non-reflective surface was similar in appearance to that of the B-2 stealth bomber.

At this time I do not have any for sale. Stock moves very quickly, with no real stock per se, as this will vary immensely from month to month.

I would need to be in stealth mode if my wife found out I'd paid that much for a pen !
