I passed up a briefcase on Ebay, recently, which I believe was a fake. I found two more styles that I like.

What does everyone think- real or fake?

My advice is if you dont feel comfortable about something on eBay (especialy MB stuff) DONT BUY IT !!!

The fact that the Mont Blanc logos are off-center concern me. . .

Hmm, everything looks fine to me, but I also now nothing about MB leather goods. Sorry, but I will be of no help here.

Honestly i think it beats most of the forumers here (being a FP forum). Sorry.

But my opinion is that, be very careful about buying leather goods online. Leather goods are known to be faked, probably more often than fountain pens. At least i haven't seen any piston fillers being faked yet.

Think you did right to pass on these buddy. I have had and still do own some MB leather items. Its very hard to tell from pictures but things looked a bit to 'sheeny' on certain aspects of these cases.

I have the official MB product book at home and I will look at the MB pictures when I return.

I excersise extreme caution with ANY MB product on e-bay and find direct questions to the seller will soon uncover the facts.

i am 100% certain both those pieces are indeed fake

I vote fake...the logo use does not look correct.
