I own the second pen (orange and gray). I have a lathe and milling machine, and I am very close to producing a barrel for a VP. It is actually a very easy machining operation, requiring only a small lathe. I think I could do both pieces in 30 minutes once I get the technique down. I will post pictures if I ever get around to completing this project.

Unfortunately he is not back in business. I heard from him a few months back he wasn't ndoing bindes. If someone else heards different lmk

I was searching for a Danitrio on the net, and came across a sale that was a year or two old. It was attached to Chris' site, and so I thought I would check to see if there was anyway he still had the pen (he didn't). In the body of my email, I mentioned that I liked his work on this site, and he said that he had stopped it for a while so he and his wife could work on a house they are fixing up. He didn't really say if he intended to start up again.
